I began working on the Galactic Star Chart for Star Trek Online during closed beta testing of the game. Since tha games Galactic map is not quite as informative as I’d hoped, I decided to take screenshots of each sector block and pasted them together so I had a fully detailed map of the game. It was pretty rough and ready and didn’t really have that ‘Trek’ feel to it, so I decided to ‘Trek’ it up a notch.
After I had created the map with a new skin, I realised that often when I used it, it was to find a location I needed to goto, I also saw a fair few posts on the forums by people asking the locations of places (including space stations and fleet actions), so I decided the map an alphabetical list of each system in the game as a word document. I found myself using the document quite a lot and realised it would make a valuable addition to the star chart itself.
Hopefully fans of the game get as much use from this chart as I do!

Is there anything extra people would like adding to the map information wise? I’m placing the Borg space to the south of Klingon space where it actually should be. I might add a view of the galaxy as well so people can see exactly where STO’s sectors are.
I believe that adding a list of the system proposing diplomatic quest should be fine.
I can provide the list of those i’ve found up to now, but i’m only Rear Amiral Upper Half 1, not yet Vice Admiral.

Suricata, your map (and ship tier graphic) is both beautiful to look at and highly practical. Thank you for your creating and publishing them!
My humble suggestions:
Diplomatic missions are at Vulcan, Bajor, Memory Alpha and Starbase 39, but I think there will be more in the future, so adding them might make the new map outdated again within a few months.
The Orellius Sector Block will probably become accessible with the start of the weekly missions.
Besides the three new sectors, there are some new systems as well in the Eta Eridani and Omega Leonis Sector Block (such as Drozana, Starbase 157, Forcas, etc.).
Adding the Gamma Orionis Transwarp Corridors near Risa and No’mat would be cool, too.
Season 3 is now out there, is there any chance of further updates suri?
Working on the revised map right now, any information other than the new sectors that would be useful?
